South Asia Granite & Marble, Colombo, Srilanka caters to the Marble requirements of the customer. SAM imports Blocks from all the Major Marble exporting countries, process them and sells fully finished Marble slabs.
South Asia Granite and Marble Pvt Ltd is marble processing unit located in Sri Lanka. It is a Joint venture between Midwest Granite Pvt Ltd. and Diamond Spectrum Enterprises, a leading company in natural stone in Holland. (Apart from the good investment climate, advantages of Free Trade Agreement) and Srilanka having one of the most modern ports in South Asia and being strategically located in terms of logistics, this plant was set up.
Marble blocks are imported from all around the world and processed. The marble processed covers the entire Italy, Spain, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Egypt and Portugal.
Installed capacity of the plant is 40000 sq. mtr per month. The unit with 4 Gang saws, a horizontal resin plant, grinding line and polishing line has installed.
This facility is ideally suited for execution of major projects in the South Asian region. The products include slabs as well as cut-to-size.
Products: Slabs and cut to size.
Slabs: The minimum size is 240 cm x 120 cm.
Cut - to Size : mostly 60 cm x 60 cm and 60 cm x 30 cm and as required.
