Midwest has been enjoying several awards conferred by the Central and State Government, trade organizations, banking institutions and journals, amassing a host of categories including mining, mine safety, environment conservation and export performance over its several decades of commercial operation. Some of Midwest’s latest awards are listed below:

• ‘Model Granite Quarry Award’ 2008-09. Midwest is the recipient of this prestigious National Level award for consecutive years. Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) in association with All India Granite and Stone Association(AIGSA) have instituted this award to recognize the constitution of this mine to be a model in scientific and systematic mining and also in preservation of mining and ecology along with the socio economic development. The committee included the Joint Secretary - Ministry of Mines – Indian Government, Controller General – Indian Buraeu of Mines, President – AIGSA, Bangalore and Secretary General – FIMI.
• Midwest is a Recipient of “Export Promotion Award” for consecutive years 2008-09 and 2009-10, which is a State Level award for Best Exporter in the Granite Sector in A.P.
• Midwest is recognized as a ‘Star Export House’, since the year 2009, by Ministry of Commerce, Government of India under manufacturer and exporter category that afford additional advantages and incentives in terms of export & import policy such Exemption from furnishing of Bank Guarantee in Schemes under this Policy, as 100% retention of foreign exchange in EEFC account, Entitlement for consideration under certain schemes such as Target Plus Scheme, Enhancement in normal repatriation period from 180 days to 360 days, Enhancement in Credit limits from banks etc.
• Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India awarded the ‘Longstanding Customer’ award, which is conferred upon its most credit worthy customers.
